Wimbledon

So we went to Wimbledon.

Yes, that's right we took two babies to Wimbledon.

And we rocked it.

Leon and Danny got to leave work early to get the Wimbledon experience. It was a lovely cloudy/rainy day and we stood in the famous que for like an hour. Ellie was a little restless, but very excited to be with Daddy and Mommy doing whatever we were doing. I tried to explain to her that we needed to be quiet, but you can imagine how that went. She couldn't help but raise those little arms in the air and yell "hooray, hooray" and "Great job Girls". It is in her genes to be loud and encouraging (Mimi, Nana, Me). And I wouldn't have her any other way. We enjoyed some strawberries and cream and watched some great tennis.

Sometimes Ellie just can't stop kissing him...I totally get it

While Leon and Danny made their way into courts 1 and 2, the kids and I sat out on the grass and watched the big screen. Apparently kids under 5 are not welcome on the big courts, so we made our own fun. We ate chicken and made friends with people who had fruit snacks, naturally. We loved taking pictures and making kissy faces. Ellie has that one down pat.

Unfortunately, it started raining about an hour after we got there and the matches on the outdoor courts were cancelled. We tried to snatch up some memorabilia but couldn't find anything great so we just snatched a few photos and headed back for home. Sorry Kelsie :(
